Support is available in the community before, during, and after an Intervention Order (IVO) matter. These services can help you feel safe, informed, and connected.

Community Legal Services

Community legal centres provide free advice and assistance for IVO matters. They can:

  • Explain your rights and options.
  • Help complete forms and prepare evidence.
  • Provide guidance on what to expect in court.

Family Violence and Support Services

If you are experiencing family violence or harassment, support services can help with safety planning, counselling, and connecting you to practical resources.

Police and Emergency Services

If you feel threatened or the IVO is breached, contact Victoria Police: 000 for emergencies or 131 444 for non-urgent assistance.
